Meet Janice Milligan
MS, LPC, NCC
Welcome to Empowering Growth Counseling Services (EGCS). I am the owner of EGCS and a private-practice, licensed professional counselor serving clients online in the state of Georgia.
My overall goal for each of my clients is to increase the love and acceptance they have for themselves and to empower growth within their lives.

I provide counseling services from a non-judgmental and empathetic point of view. I work from an integrative therapeutic perspective that prioritizes each individual’s experiences without bias.

With this approach I will provide psychoeducation about skills that will maintain the progress we make in therapy for many years to come.
My Approach to Counseling
My approach to therapy uses a variety of therapeutic interventions and theories, as well as the most recent research in the field to create treatment plans that address each unique client.
I like to be aware of the ways in which each individual’s culture as well as society has an impact on their life experiences and development.
I have served clients of all gender expressions, races, ethnicities, ages, and socioeconomic statuses. It is imperative to my practice to provide services that are affirming for each individual client.
Why Counseling?
At times, it can be difficult to admit to ourselves when we are in need of help. It can be even more difficult to admit this to someone else.
Counseling, however, creates a safe space to share struggles, fears, feelings, experiences, and more.
Counseling can provide peace of mind in good times or bad. It provides you with a space that is warm and welcoming, and one which you can come as you are.

Payment Details
Empowering Growth Counseling Services can only accept payments via credit or debit card. The following cards can be processed: American Express, Cash, Discover, Mastercard, Paypal, Venmo, Visa.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be billed a full session fee.
